I give you a toast, ladies and gentlemen.
I give you a toast, ladies and gentlemen.
May this fair dear land we love so well
In dignity and freedom dwell.
We'll meet again
Don't know where
Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again
Some sunny day
da jeg fløj over denne den største by i verden, vidste jeg med absolut sikkerhed, som om jeg kunne se ind i fremtiden: Alt dette vil blive ødelagt.
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
t'is I'll be there in sunshine or in shadow
Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so.
Up to mighty London came an Irish-
man one day,
as the street are paved with gold
sure ev’ryone was gay;
To be or not to be
that's the question
but not to me,
Vor der Kaserme vor dem großen Tor
stand eine Lanterne
und steht sie nach davor
so wollen wir da uns wieder sehen

There'll be bluebirds over
The white cliffs of Dover,
Tomorrow
Just you wait and see.

There'll be joy and laughter
And peace ever after,
Tomorrow
When the world is free,

The shepherd will count his sheep
The valleys will bloom again,
And Jimmy will go to sleep
In his own little room again,

There'll be bluebirds over
The white cliffs of Dover,
Tomorrow
Just you wait and see.
